secondary school

lazygirl September 6, 2013 19:40
Well DS started secondary school almost 3 weeks ago now AND - despite lack of support from the school ; some low level bullying going on by older children (someone put him in a headlock!); not "having time" to eat his packed lunch (which we had to provide as the queue for school lunches was so long), being put in classes without anyone else from his PS (the only one) ..............he is ENJOYING IT!!!! We are so proud of our boy.

Well done to your wee man (and you). Ours also started at High School just over three weeks ago and seems to be thriving (even if he keeps losing his tie!)

Our DD is doing really well too at high school so much so that the school think that after the CAT (is that right ) assessments next week they'll be able to move her out of the nurture group and she can start learning French. So pleased for her and really glad that we persevered to get her a Statement at primary school. She is even managing to get the bus on her own. It just shows that picking the right school can make a huge difference :)

That is great for all your children. My DD has started high school and she loves it. She is even doing all her homework as soon as she gets home-long may this last.
