in your case i'd guess until placement order as there'd be no intros and although you'll still need to go to MP etc it will be known by the courts that child is already placed with prospective parents so hopefully contact would stop pretty quickly after the PO. I've had one bubs who's bm gave up doing contact well before PO, one who had about three contacts post PO with final one about 1 one month before MP (about three months afer PO), one who went to family care still having contact and that ongoing indefinitely, and small bubs who had contact stopped within a week or two of PO and will have had a year free of contact before her adoption. all the same LA, all different child care teams so different approaches.

I seem to remember (feels like a long time ago lol) that our boys had direct contact with BM and various family members before we where matched as concurrent carers. Once we had been introduced to BM and where visiting the boys at their FC's, the adoption agency set up a contact plan for us to take the boys in to see BM every week.SM xx

Can't see how they can take you to panel and approve you for the adoption of this child if there isnt a PO in place anyway? As surely it is only after PO granted that child is free for adoption. I guess it depends on what is going on with BP are they having any kind of assessments, are they contesting adoption etc with all the babies I have had they have continued with contact until PO granted then had a goodbye visit then contact stopped - unleess of course BP bowed ou before then. Maybe thats why none of them would be considered for concurrency??
