Request from BBC South

Press and PR April 3, 2020 17:43

We've received the following request from Tim, at BBC South.

Tim has assured us they can guarantee anonymity if identification is an issue, by shooting the filmed interview from behind, providing pseudonyms and even by disguising voices, if necessary.

Please contact Tim directly if you would like too find out more.

As you will appreciate, we are dedicating our news coverage to the coronavirus, but as part of that we are keen to include items which show things going on as usual. With this in mind, we are looking to see whether we could talk to people who are currently going through the adoption process and finding that it is proceeding as expected. We’re looking for a case study in East Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire or Dorset. It seems that different authorities are taking their own positions on adoption, with some carrying on as normal and others restricting it to children who are in danger. We are able to film within the social distancing requirements and observe all of the coronavirus precautions. I’m really hoping you’ll be able to help. I would like to film something on Monday if possible please. Thanks and best wishes Tim Tim Needham BBC South Today 07768351490
