Double snap!DH and I are matched to two LOs, blue 3 and pink 2. Matching panel on 23rd September and meet them on 7th October (39 days til I meet my babies!). Soooo excited! What have you told your families? Have they seen photos yet? I'm dying to show my family the photos we've got as I've found it a really useful part of the attachment process. Is anyone else a teensy bit daunted? Two toddlers!!

We have shown family pics now as panel is booked, nobody can find any reasons it can go wrong (except my stupid thought processes and panic modes) Plus i agree and think it has definitely helped us attach and I know it has definitely helped my mum and dad. Wow dizzydebs birthdays between placement and christmas too then - I have started going shopping crazy already, we know our two blues havent got anything winter wear wise that will fit them! haha so i think i have bought the whole of next! lol!Bet you are so excited, i know we are!xx

Congratulations to you all. We were placed with two little uns 3.5 and 2.5 in April and my advice would be SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP. I really underestimated how tired I would be, two at the same time is MORE than a handful and book in your support network early, most of mine have been noticeable by their absence! We are almost five months in and finally things are settling but it all takes time. In the midst of potty training at the moment!Good luck with intros and rest up and exercise while you can. Picking up two children and getting up and down changing nappies all day is quite exhausting on the upper arms and legs. And I thought I was quite fit exercising 6 hours a week up to placement.Enjoy this magical time

Note to self - sleep and exercise more. We have just invested in a huge trampoline so some major bouncing and dumbell weights are also on the agenda! Thanks for the advice - good luck to everyone else who is going to become a mummy or daddy in the next few weeks! Daisy x

Congratulations to you all.....Brings back for me wonderful wonderful happy happy memories...... baa & skweek were 23 & 38 months at placement.... So snap y'all....My life changed forever I truely have never been happier or more fulfilled...... We have never looked back.....My sons settled well & are sooo happy.....That was over 4 years ago.... We are well into year 5!!!!My tips as a single Mummeee is pick your battles set your boundaries in stone be strong & consistent from day one....Intros are soooo tough & beyond belief so so tiring but hang in..... The first 6 months are the test as everything you have known to date will be blown out of the water for the foreseeable future!!!! But the unmistakable joy of that first "MumeeeeMumeee look at me" goes into your soul!!!!Enjoy & lorry loads of luck to you all nothing will ever come close to the wonders that lie so close ahead for you all now....Xxxxxx. moo..... Proud Mummeeee to brothers baa & skweek now 7&6. Xx
