Mummy will come back

Angelgirl September 2, 2013 18:45
My sister''s 12 month old (birth child) starts day nursery tomorrow and my dd was listening in to me speaking to my sister about how she will cope etc. After a while dd piped up "does she understand that mummy will always come back? Do you want me to explain that to her?"She went over to the baby and whispered " your mummy will come back. She won''t leave you there forever. It will only be for a bit."She then stroked her head very gently. I only posted the other day about her issues with babies!!!Dd is 5 with massive attachment problems and school issues. I was beginning to wonder whether anything I said was penetrating!!!Obviously it is!!This re-wiring stuff is very subtle and slow but oh so worth itA xx
