Big Fun Run

Simba and I did our 4th 5K fun run this morning. The first one we completed in 46 minutes, the second in 39 , the third in 38mins 55 sec and today we got round in 36 minutes 40 seconds. Particularly pleased that we got a new PB today as I've had a problem with my foot and havent run more than a mile since before the summer holidays Simba loves his medals but is hard work on the 'its the taking part that matters ' issue !

What is PB? You 2 did 5 km in 36 minutes? That is really fast as far as I am aware, wow that is an achievement!

PB is personal best time. When you have no chance of actually winning anything its nice to be able to chart progress. We had 2k to go when the first person crossed the finish line. Mo Farah would be round in about 13 minutes but for an old crock and a 9 year old who couldnt actually run properly this time last year I am well chuffed. I know some people think I'm recklessly extravagant by paying for Simba to have a personal trainer but its paying off.
