Just sent off email and she's not in until Monday, so you don't need to send email in today, so gives you a bit more time to reply

Hello everyone,I've also spoken to R4. They've had a great response from lots of you and it sounds like it should be a really interesting programme. We've provided some background information on adoption support including our 'It takes a village' report, and set up a provisional interview slot for Hugh Thornbery.Looking forward to hearing the show,Best wishesNaomi--Press and PR Assistant

Just finished my lonnng email. I am hopeful that a few of our number from the boards will be on the programme - god willing - the programme will tell all - the good news stories, the everyday adoption support struggles of the majority, the more extreme health/ education/ PAS of traumatised adopted children and then on to the minority of traumatised adopted children who can no longer remain in their adoptive placments. If you have not already done so, this is your chance to say your piece.Jellies

Hi Naiomi (AUK Lady)When you spoke to Y & Yrs did you tell them about the pinned thread with questions for Mr Loughton re adoption support on the disscussion board ? Although the it takes a village report is very good, that thread really is our (Adopters)heart felt thoughts on adoption support. Please ask that the researchers read it.

Hi Jellies,I have mentioned the message boards to the producer there and she has found it a useful source of background information.Unfortunately Hugh Thornbery's slot has been dropped due to time restraints - they're keen to give the time to more case studies instead. AUK should still get a mention though and a lot of the most pressing issues around adoption support will hopefully come out through the case study material.RegardsNaomi--Please note - I work only part time and don't check the boards daily so probably best to contact me at ---- EMAIL REDACTED ---- regarding our media work for a more immediate response.

It's never what you hope for is it ?You and yours have now put the detail of Monday's hour long programme on the website.Adoption support only gets 20minutes. We then 20 mins on itailian fashion and another 20 mins on the trials and tribulations of getting post to remote island in the irish sea.Still seems our own Mr T has been dropped in favour of Mr Narey. So may still be of interest , if only to hear some of our board mates getting some air time .Bit dissapointed though if I am being honest.
