DH, Violet, Dash and I had a lovely afternoon out today at a steam fair.Went on steam train which we all love. Wandered about looking at exhibits, eating ice cream and just enjoying being out in the sunshine together.Bought a ''driver''s eye view'' DVD of a railway journey which Dash and I have found from a previous charity shop purchase that we both enjoy. Very soothing, with ''anorak'' commentary about all the stations and signal boxes etc And then when we got back I realised that I have now totally accepted that this is our family now most of the time, just the four of us. For a while I was very conscious of ''this is us now'' and often thought more about the 2 older ones when we are out as a family. But today I didn''t think about us being ''reduced''...well not until we got home.This has taken 2 academic years of older DD''s course just wanted to reflect on here
