There isn't an introduce yourself section (I don't think?) so perhaps an alternative to that could be a section for individual experiences as an adoptive parent (an 'adoption journeys/stories' section for example). It'd be good for both prospective adopters (to give a picture of how diverse experiences as an adoptive parent can be) and also for new adopters (who could direct questions at individual adopters whose outlook/experience mirrors/reflects their own - i.e. adopted kids of a similar age/background).

Option to default to no notifications is on your profile - edit profile and scroll down till you get to notifications section.

I'm really wanting to embrace this new format and would like my comments to be viewed as trying to be helpful and not critical as I understand a lot of time and effort has gone into producing this new website. From an iPad users perspective I find there is a lot of empty space, the text boxes appear very small and I also find some texts don't follow in a straight line (Sorry, my best friends a graphic designer, maybe I'm a being a bit too picky). If there is a way if adjusting my settings please let me know. It's a little difficult to follow. This site is invaluable, thank you to all who work to ensure we have a place to share, support and encourage each other.
