Zut! Catlady. Now I don't have a clue which way we are going and Safia has gong to bed (as should I, BTW) and so can not keep us "honest". Glad your squash family are doing well; I believe that the humble courgette, if not bigged up too much by its American brethren, will still recognise that it is part of the squash family.

We had the "year of the courgette" a few years ago when we grew many and they were very tasty.

OK. I'll give it a go, starter for 10: Is a grown up courgette a marrow?

Viewed further in wiki about cultivars and you are right Safia, it is that which is cultivated, doesn't occur in the wild.

Chick's Mum, isn't it great when the courgettes do well? Last summer was good for mine. Kitcat and I are growing pumpkins too, we are rejoicing in all things marrow!

Really CatLady after discussion - as no one can contact you - the best thing might be if you joined the adoption free forums which are called the proboards (I think) there I think people can chat to each other without enhanced security clearance so we could get your mobile number for the WhatsApp group?

Quite a long gap since this thread was used - thought I’d try an update since the boards are beginning to stir a bit. Just a reminder of how this thread works - it’s for general chat / anything - but each post starts with the next letter of the alphabet - so as this was Q and we are currently going backwards the next one starts with P - then O etc. When we get to A we then go forwards with the next one being B. At Z we then go backwards again - so Y X W etc - simples as they say! Good luck and keep posting!

Please note - sometimes people get confused and we have to ignore that and carry on in the “right” order (after reading their post - as we reply etc) Make sense?

Oh (?) my goodness, I had not seen this post - you guys really are great at these types of games! I hope the ARF will continue in time too! I struggle to have much imagination on that one - and use the appropriate language!! ?
