(I've received permission from AUK to post here) On Sunday, myself and a friend joined the London to Brighton cycle ride to raise funds for Adoption UK. It was a fantastic day, particularly considering how awful the weather was the day before! We did the 54 mile run in under 5 hours in the saddle, including the infamous Ditchling Beacon, which I managed to cycle up. My friend wimped out and walked! Not bad for someone who's in his 50s and hasn't ridden such a distance for over 30 years. I'd really appreciate it if you could sponsor us.
