A student and adoptive mum from the University of Salford is writing a dissertation in Attachment, Trauma and Loss and is looking for input from adopters.If you would like to help please see the details below:"I am currently working on a dissertation for an MSc in Attachment, Trauma and Loss, through the University of Salford. My dissertation topic is on life story books, and it would be most helpful if I could ask adopters a few straightforward questions about their children''s life story books. I would not require any personal information or any information related to the content of the books -- I am merely trying to get a sense of how life story books actually exist in the real world. Why does a student from a University give a hotmail email address as their contact? Where is their official University email address?I would be happy to take part in this, but the email address puts me off. I'd expect a more official address - a more secure one!

All research requests are subject to specific checks before being posted on the boards. Checks are made with the supervisor of the person who is requesting the research and that their research is a legitimate study for a known University or educational establishment.Only once all checks have been made does a research request go onto the boards with all information, including email addresses, approved.Best WishesOnline Community Team
