Support group for LGBT families in and around the Brighton area

Hi We adopted four months ago and we were wondering apart from Rainbow families, if there are other meet up support groups around the Brighton area? If not I was thinking of maybe setting up a new social group, for children nursery and school age to meet and have play dates and for us parents to meet and give each other support and encourgement. It would also be nice to meet other couples or single parents that have been on a similar journey to us. If anyone knows of any such groups, or if anyone in the Brighton or surrounding areas would like a new group set up, please let me know and i will happily create a group if enough people are interested.

Hi Kissl, Are you aware of BAHFTA (Brighton and Hove Families Through Adoption)? Or Brighton Adoption Team run an undet 5s stay and play group on Tuesdays. If you contact them they'd be able to tell you about both. Neither are specific to LGBT adopters though. Good luck.
