HiWe have recently been approved and the LA will be talking to us shortly about a lo.I have probably missed the threads on here before but is the rate of SAP ã136 p/w BEFORE tax? I am sure it is.Also if someone works four days a week like me will they get even less?!By the way assuming the lo is placed with us I am entitled to full pay for 6 months from my employer.Thanks

Sorry to hi-jack your thread An123.Is SAP paid alongside earnings from empolyers, or only there for people who are not entitled to pay?

Hi Yellow,You will need to check your employers policy. Same issue as mat leave.If an employer pays more than SAP it will be explained in their policy.Normal protocol is employer pays what they state in policy & claim sap back directly with gov so you only get wages from employer (at what they state in policy).Hope this is clearer but I found the gov help site very useful then went through my policy with HR to know exactly once I was linked. I knew enough from my policy to work out financials.GG
