Hello all Our DD is 12. She has mild learning difficulties, ADHD, Speech and Lang Dev Disorder and suspected APD. She has just returned from a 2 night, 3 day school camping trip (Yr 7). I have just unpacked her bag to do her washing and the stink was grim! She has clearly not made it to the loo in time for a wee on a couple of occasions as her clothes stink of urine. Her period was due to start and despite me preparing her as much as humanly possible and despite me contacting the school via email and actually speaking to the teacher that was going, her period started on the day they returned and she had packed everything away in her rucksack and had not managed to ask to be able to access it for the journey home. When we picked her up the back of her jeans were stained. :( Poor thing. I am cross with school re the period thing and need to sort out the getting to the loo in time with them too. We have her Annual EHCP review on Monday and I wonder if anyone has included this type of thing in an EHCP. There is presently nothing in hers re health/personal care and it is an ideal opportunity to change that. Can anybody help me with some advice as to wording/raising it at the meeting? Thank you
