confused and need enlightening

Hi I have posted this twice so sorry to those who are reading it for a second time but I wanted to make sure I didnt miss anyones answers!I am not approved yet although should be at pannel in JuneI am with a VAI understand that matching can take ages but then CWW and BMP comes through the post and the same children are in it month after monthThese children who without us seeing more detail seem to be really suitableThis month alone there is 5 sets of sibling groups that we would want to be considered forAlso when I have enquired "I know naughty!" the childrens sw''s have been keen and 2 have infact called for updates on our approved status as they are very intersted in us for there children. Once I tell them that DH is black u can hear there ears pin back!So my question is why does it take so long? What am I not seeing or knowing? Thank u anyone who can shed light on this for meI need to manage my expectations as being in a mixed race relationship we keep being told that we will literately be snapped up but then I know from the BME threads this is not always the case!

Some people get matched almost immediately and others take forever. in our case because hubby was going to be the primary care giver this put off a number of SW narrow minded so and sos. i would say as a mixed race couple (I hope that is the right term and does not offend) that you are a valuable commodity and shouldn't have to much trouble. Re sibling groups being in be my family ,magazine placing more than two children at once can take a long time to find a couple with enough resilience and support. many adoption specialist now feel placing children separately may be better as each child can have multiple needs. Good luck for the future you sound like you we will be lovely parents.
