I''ve recently come across this resource for teachers which I just think is brilliant and exactly what is needed in the UK. It''s from Victoria in Australia where they seem to be much more clued up about attachment - apparently every teacher has a copy! Hi - I do A LOT of work with schools, foster carers, adopters on attachment and trauma at work. Thank you so much for posting this - it is an exceptionally good document. I like 'Understanding Why' too, but I think this might even top that. A really nice set of free downloadable docs to go into all DTs for LAC resources kits for all their staff. I will definitely be adding this to all my resource lists.I've just done a day on developmental trauma with adopters - such a shame I didn't have this then! I'll send the link to the PASW team to forward to those that attended.Really, really good and I wondered if it had links to Bruce Perry as the drawings in it (pencil line ones) and some of the language sounds very, very familiar from a DVD I show on trauma.
