Final day of inrtoductions today :)

My first post since LA gave us membership when we were approved back in March this year - the advent of the good news board spurred me to do it!! As title says this is our last day of introductions and whilst we are both cream crackered they have been an absolute joy. Our little boy is gorgeous and for us the connection was pretty instant! We have a five year old birth son and although early days his reaction upon meeting was more positive than we could ever have hoped for. Foster carers have been true professionals and for us meeting in six weeks time for follow up is more than just a tick box exercise, we get on well and have the greatest of respect for the positive start they have given our son.The other boards indeed are a great source of information but this one is great to visit when all those doubting questions pop into the head!A very happy daddy

Congratulations!We have two birth sons who were 6 and 7 when AD came home, and they responded very positively to her. 5 months in, and not a word of complaint from either of them about any of her interesting little ways!Love at first sight between siblings is not something I have heard of before, but sounds like both you and I are lucky to have experienced it
