Good Evening Prospective Adopters or Adopters, we have just started the adoption process and progressing through stage one, we are yet to meet our social worker but we have been in communication with her and she is due to start with us next week, we are working through our work book and trying to prepare as much as possible with what we can, now the one daunting thing for me is the medicals, mine has been done and submitted to the agency but I have a history of anxiety/depression it’s under control with medication and the doctors are happy with my progress and have advised the agency they don’t see this as a cause for concern, has anyone had any thing similar as I’m worried that they are gonna come back to me and say we need to terminate your application due to mental health, I checked my medical history online and it saw that a letter has been sent to my GP by the agency… but it’s not visible to me…now that’s worrying me, this process has barely started and it’s daunting for sure!
