Dance exam

Dusty June 28, 2013 16:39
In the past I have had to resist from replying to members who felt that AC should not take part in mainstream activities. Thank goodness I took the advice lightly, as I ummed and arrhed about starting our AC with dance classes to improve confidence. Well our AC passed the first exam and was sooooo very proud. I am also a very proud Dusty!

Well done Little Dusty, and a well deserved proud mummy moment! I don't think folk have suggested that mainstream activities are a no no, just that the pressure can sometimes be too much for some of our young.Queenie

Congratulations to your dd!My children have participated in lots of mainstream activities, some very successfully indeed. One has accessed special needs groups, also happily. One struggled. So it definitely depends on the child, and it is always worth having a go.
