Happy LGBT Fostering and Adoption week! For anyone who is LGBT and interesting in Fostering or Adoption now or in the future this week is a great time to attend one of the many events being run all over the country or to make contact with a Local Authority or Agency. It has been almost 4 years today since we made our first enquiry, it was the beginning of the journey to become parents to our amazing son. Also remember for anyone reading this message after the LGBT Foster and Adoption week there is most agents and Local Authorities are very helpful in providing information and run information days throughout the year. LGBT can and do adopt and foster, we now make up 10% of the people placed with children and the number is looking to continue to rise!
