Good news we were approved last week, wheelchair included. That major hurdle over now for the haard bit getting matched. How long do disabled people tend to wait?

. Congratulations. I have MS but am not a wheelchair user-we waited 11 months first time around and 12 months second time around.

Hiya SaintsCongratulations on being approved. We were approved Sept 08 and go to matching panel next month so it's taken just over a year. Best of luck.xX Cat Xx

I am registered disabled with ongoing hip problems (one artifical hip),knee and back problems.I was approved February 2007,matched in November 2007 with a just turned 2 and 3 year old boy and girl and the children were placed at end of January 2008 (Total of 11 months)Good Luck
