After 15 months of waiting and waiting, hubby and I decided a fresh start and approach was needed. We withdrew our registration of interest from Barnardo's and last weekend we submitted a new one to Adoption Focus. This time we decided to go down the Foster to Adopt route.
On Tuesday evening we were contacted asking to arrange our initial visit, which turned out to be the very next day - Wednesday (online). We didn't expect to hear anything for about a week, but yesterday we found out that we have been accepted on to stage 1!
It feels great to be having a fresh start and approach.
Anyone else on here with Adoption Focus?
