Life story work

Hi everyone,

Could really do with some advice. Are there any private organisations that offer life story work or would I have to go through our LA? I really don't want to contact our LA as not only are they completely useless but they will contact our AD's placing authority and disclose our address to them, which I don't want them to do. About a year after we adopted our AD, her placing authority disclosed our address to her BM. Thankfully we were already in the process of moving and once we did I refused to give them our new address - I position which I have kept to ever since.

This lady did ours - she’s part of an organisation but I don’t remember the name of - she was paid by ASF but I’m sure they do privately or funded by other means

many thanks for that Safia - i have looked at the link and she looks ideal. I am sure that she may want to contact our AD's placing authority but will be more likely to keep our address confidential. xxx
