Not sure if this is cheeky but our AC is due to go up to Seniors year 7 in Sept 2021, we have to apply by 31/10/20 and I wondered if there are any parents on here with AC in senior schools in the Gosport or Fareham area of Hampshire that would PM me with their view on how they feel about the school and the level of understanding it has for their child and the degree to which they are happy with the help and support and communication with key staff in the school. Our AC is OK-ish academically but can need much holistic and emotional support at times so looking for a school were they are trauma aware and open in their dealings over the child. Have asked both the current and possible schools to ask any parents that they know of with an AC in the senior schools to see if they would be able to talk to use, but they say they can't really help with this so I thought I would try on here.
Please PM me, any views good or bad or indifferent welcome, just want to know what a school is really like rather than just what the new school staff are saying to us.
