My name is Michaela Walsh, and I am undertaking a small scale research project for my university dissertation. My dissertation will be overseen my Dr. Victoria Armstrong, senior director and programme director of Education and Social Science. My focus is on LGBT couples and their experiences regarding the home assessment process when being considered to be adoptive parents. I would need a handful of couples who have been through the home assessment process to participate. Any information gained from this study will be kept anonymous and confidential. The interviews would last around 45 minutes and would be carried out at a time and place that was convenient to the research participants.
