Thankyou for your responses. I guess the reason we are impatient is because before the ectopic, a year ago, we had started the adoption process and had got as far as attending the information evening and were about to put in writing our wish to take the next step of the adoption process. To say the pregnancy was a shock would be an understatement as we were told that I would almost certainly not concieve naturally. However, we do very much want to adopt and will, as some of you have said, use this time to research more and enjoy life as the 3 of us for the time being.
