There is a message on the home page ... "We are just adding the final touches to our shiny new website which will launch later today".Having run similar projects in the past, it's fair to say these things don't always go to plan. I'm sure the Adoption UK team and their suppliers are doing all they can to get this live, and I can't wait to see the improvements when it is ready

Yes we know that but we've been here before. We understand glitches happen but it's now 4.45 on the day of launch. And anyhow this is all in a spirit of fun!

I'm sure you discussion is in good humour, I just wanted to acknowledge that there are real people who are no doubt working very hard behind the scenes to get this thing up and running. I also suspect they are running on a very limited budget for this project.

Must be quite disappointing for the web/admin people who have worked hard towards this launch. There must be quite a few glitches for it to have been delayed up until now. My bet is that it won't happen tonight but that we will wake up tomorrow to find a brand new sparkly website waiting for us!
