Hi We were asked about a past health issue, so if you have any of those be prepared to talk about it.The best piece of advice we were given about answering questions is when panel suggest a potential challenge for you as a couple such as "how will you handle any bullying a child might get who has same-sex parents" is to:1) Acknowledge the challenge first and add that you had also given it thought 2) Then say how you view that challenge and would handle it. For example in response to the typical question about same-sex parents and the child being teased at school, you might say "We had thought about how we would manage that and we know it would be unusual for any child not to experience some bullying or teasing. We would talk to our child about bullying, and the agree with them the action they would like us to take (eg, talking to the teacher, etc)It's good if you each speak and if there is a question that you can both talk about it looks good as a couple who have consistant views.I'm sure you'll be great at panelBest wishesAndy

Ahh the tribulations of the school search! Good luck with the head teachers, they can be a scary bunch After a long wait for the right school and my middly being out of school for nearly 6 months after she moved in, my recommendation is look for a warm and welcoming head teacher and everything else will fall into place!!My enjoyment of a tidy house is the small window before I do the afternoon school run but wouldn't have it way other way!!Butterbear
