Hello, We were thinking of fostering , and just wondered if anyone has adopted after having ill health such as cancer but is in remission.Does anyone know the procedures with regards to this ? and if yes how long do you have to be in remission for ? We just wanted to see how many people had experience it before we phoned the agency.Many thanks seahorse07

I know people who have had cancer treatment & gone on to adopt so I assume it is also possible with fostering but would depend on individual circumstance.I'm glad you're in remission & good luck with your application
