Time goes quick, on the end of the month I will meet the new child for 5 days and sign the papers required for the court, than it takes 4 to 6 months to bring the child home! (EE not Russia) So that is the difficult part!The boy is 5 years old and he was for ages on the waiting childrens list from my agency. There you can read 5 sentences and see a picture, password protected. So when my homestudy was finished in April (approved for a sn child 4-9) I decided to ask more info. I received a few minutes video and medical and general information.Children on the waiting childrens list are there because the countries they''re from are actively looking for families. All those children have special needs of some sort.The boys needs are mainly medical, the rest I''ll find out when he''s home.A few weeks after my information was processed in the childs country I was matched with the boy. (They process older +7 and sn children quicker than referals, a lot quicker) And so I got the first travel date.If anyone is interested I''ll write a bit more after meeting the child. This PERFECT child!
