Sorry this post is just a rant and moan!!!The waiting is killing us right now. We received CPR 3 weeks ago, had all our questions answered via email and every week for the last 3 our sw has told us the link meeting would be the week after and every week our SW has told us that the LOs LA hasn''t come back confirming time/dateWe know we are the only couple being considered and have also been told they are very keen on us however holidays, sick leave, sw leaving have all come up and I feel so fed up at the minute!I suppose we are just having one of those days! Hey Daisy, You have my sympathy and TBH, it gets worse before it gets better. The waiting for a link is pretty bad but waiting for MP is frankly painful IMO it will probably be a couple of months. We had our link meeting in April and had MP at the end of June - the worst time. Eventually - makes it all worth it xxxMummy to my beautiful boy aged 2

Thanks sprocky docky, I'm just feeling sorry for myself, tomorrow will be a new day and ill go in search of another dose of patience, as the last has definitely work off! :-) x

It's awful isnt it - at every stage you tell yourself ok this bit must be the hardest but somehow it just keeps getting harder!Try to remember it really does happen eventually - and the day they come with you all the other bits just melt away! (then you start waiting for the AO lol)

Thanks KStar, I know i am feeling much better this morning - i dosed up on patience last night before bed and it seems to have kicked in again.The SWs manager has confirmed the waiting is really not acceptable and he is on the chase for us today to the LOs SW. I suppose the panic isnt there that could have been had it been a competitive match.Daisy! :-)

Stick with it!It's awful, I remember the wait and it was really really tough and we kept thinking of walking away, glad we didn't though.We said yes to our children beg. Nov....FINALLY met sw in Jan...because of hols, then had to wait two weeks for them to see another couple....we're given the nod at beg Feb, panel in mid April....intros a week later....home beg. May.....all because of 'sw's not having enough the time'.But we now have our happy endings, the wait was worth it. I have a 13mth and 28mth old upstairs asleep Good things come to those who wait x x x x

Hi everyoneFirst chance j have had to get on here todayWe got a call from sw at lunchtime to say LOs sw can meet us tomorrow afternoon with FC, at least once she has been we know we should get an answer pretty much straight away as we are def the only couple they are considering Thanks for all supportDaisy
