one year on

Hi everyone, we are still on the paper work journey etc one year on. We have our BC aged 5 and are hoping to get AD one day in the future.. its a long process....SW has been typing the report for 2 months and its still in draft form and NO Panel date as yet. The SW has been back and forth with questions, ones we have already answered during our home assessment. Its a little annoying somedays. They have contacted my previous boyfriends from over 20 yrs ago for a character questionnaire ! bizarre. We are trying to prepare ourselves by reading these posts and your suggested reading material and using this time constructively.Somedays I feel like will the day ever come.My BS talks about "when Sister" does this and that etc....He''d not pushing for her to arrive, but I do feel Im building him up for it and its out of my control if its when it does or doesnt ever happen. We are going this through a VA who are very good appointments wise, the process is just so lengthy. If they stayed the whole day and interviewed us instead of max 2 hrs would of helped. Plus if they typed the notes up on laptop as they were going along would help also.... oh...moaning me. x
