Parents to share childcare leave

You may have seen today's news article about parental leave: Parents to share childcare leave for up to year, says Nick Clegg - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-25148457 The policy team have been in touch with DfE to ask if this applies to adoptive parents too. They have said that 'in the main' the new proposal will apply to adoptive parents. If you have any questions about how this shared leave would work, please add them to this thread so we can put them to the DfE. Many thanks, Kate on behalf of the Policy team
