A few days ago I was moaning how yukky youngest lunch bag was even though I'd scrubbed it througly. Pop it in the washing machine inside out my friend said. Tah dah ! Nice clean lunch bag ready & waiting My top tip to impart today is never put football socks in the tumble dryer. Any other gems out there ?

Washable white board pens- they lie! Use a dose of net curtain whitener in with school T-shirtâs and they come out very clean

A tip I got from here years ago. If your children wet the bed, make up bed with 2 sets of sheets waterprrof mattress protector, sheet then another waterprrof mattress protector and sheet on top. Then when the inevitable happens in the middle of the night, just whip off the top 2 layers and clean dry sheet underneath

I used that one too Larsti...in fact have just done exactly that though not for our kids this time! Wood based cat litter is great for soaking up vomit and can then be easily cleaned up itself. Make sure you make time for yourself and for you and your partner together
