Tomorrow is THE DAY! Are you also exited?WE WILL GET NEW BOARDS WHO WORK, AND ON TOP OF THAT HAVE A SECRET SECTION! I have to be honest the last time they promised a new board I was disappointed. There were a few new pictures, the ones you can get somewhere free to use, as that girl who blows a flower I have seen on at least 2 other sites.But further nothing really was changed.But now it will be different, I hope .I also noticed that there are many new faces, welcome! but also many familiair adopters who left the boards, some for a while, others forever.To those I want to say, please come back onto the new boards.Cautious I am saying -thank you- to adoption uk, as my motto in life is first see than believe.

I am excited...but not about the boards...old and cynical now I'm afraid...and I agree...seeing is believing..see you all 'on the other side'...if you are 'going over'...if not..see you over here....

well being rather strapped for cash will not be able to use the secret board but hopefully will be able to access other parts. But as changes have been promised before I am I the wait and see camp. Question....will they bin the f thread.

AUK seemed to back track (or so it was printed in the August edition of AUK mag) saying that there would be ONE private board for paid up members and the rest of the new boards would be for anyone to use.Looking forward to it - hope there are no major glitches.

As I understand it, only members of AUK those that subscribe will be able to access the private area's, a bit like the now members area, so not sure how the general public areas will look or be used.

I too am wondering what SP has got to be excited about, not that I am nosy or anything (but SP thinks I am )Pluto....you obviously need some visitors to make your life more exciting. I am sure I could suggest to some adopter friends that we could visit you for the weekend What do you think??maybe its time for the f thread to unravel?

No, I am not excited Pluto (or are you being ironic?)I am a member but still don't feel I'd reveal any more on the members board than I currently do. If I don't want info out there, I send a pm.It would be good if the oldies came back, that would liven things up, although it is good to have newbies too. But that seems unlikely.

Was just looking at old posts of mine and ploughing through PM's just to make sure I don.t lose things that will go into the lost world of cyberland after tomorrow.Was hopeful that I could look at pm's from the first one I ever sent but looks like I can't do that as the first one in the archive is 2008 - but know I was on here before that.Reminiscing has been good, bit sad at times and joyful at others - can't help feeling a tiny bit of me will be lost as of tomorrow.So many folk have been and gone from these boards, some pushed away (Sad face thingy), some feeling that they could not even continue here due to the awfulness of their situations, some because life has moved on and some that remain, albeit with different names.I am hoping that everyone that remains and continues to use the boards enjoy it as much as I have over the last 10yrs or so and that it continues to be the best place I know of to come to get those 1st words of encouragement or support - whatever you need/ when ever you need it.Made some wonderful friends from these boards - thankfully those friendships will remain even though those 1st contacts from PM.s will be gone forever.Upwards and onwards folks Jellies

Just checking one word association and last word I input was mummy, so seeing if it changes before the boards disappearI'm hoping things will be easier to search, but happy to go across to the new boards
