I read this article earlier this week - https://www.theguardian.com/society/2019/dec/09/student-sexual-abuse-survivor-excluded-school

This bit under Friday really struck me:

"I am yet to meet any school staff who have heard of Aces but they are the ones who have to deal with their consequences on a daily basis." Does look like there is still a long-way to go before we see more teachers in schools that understand trauma, but so good to hear that there training is happening.

Worth reading the rest of the article too.
