Health promotion specialist

Hi,We have just been referred to a health promotion specialist. I have politely asked what her role is, but wondered if anyone else has been down this route.We are already under Camhs, but SS have now got involved due to issues coming to light in school.She sounded very nice on phone and is coming to chat to me first before attempting meetings with my 13 year old daughter.Meanwhile my phone has had all the pictures deleted and the few songs I had on it - I guess fortunately not the contacts. I have also found one of my rings in her room, but another ring and locket necklace missing - without finding them I have no proof, but I am concerned she has given/swapped them at school (probably for a bag of crisps!!) Each day gives a new surprise!

Not sure, but from the name I would assume it is someone who promotes your physical and mental health??.As for the stealing lock your stuff up and hide the key, anything of value keep in a safety deposit box. We also put locks on our bedroom door and the office bedroom door.Love Darcy xx

Thanks - I have bought the lock for our bedroom, which I really think we should have got a long time ago. Will let you know how I get on with health promotion specialist
