Hi everyone, Thanks for all the comments and suggestions about the Adoption UK website and message boards, received via a number of threads. Apologies it’s taken a while to get back to you – please find an update below of what we''ve been working on.Many of you will remember that back in September of last year, we ran a specific website survey (via Survey Monkey) to gain feedback on the Adoption UK website, as a whole. This survey was called ‘Help shape the future of the Adoption UK website’ and we publicised the survey via the website homepage, on the message boards and in Adoption Today magazine. This survey included a dedicated section about the message boards which enabled people to comment on how they use the boards, who they felt should be able to view/post, and enabled people to leave additional comments and suggestions. Although the survey is now closed, the original post about it can be found here: www.adoptionuk.org/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=49163Over 200 people completed the survey – so a big thank you to everyone who did. We received lots of really useful feedback, including comments surrounding the issue of private boards and suggestions for new facilities and features.We are now using the findings from the survey, as well as comments and suggestions received from members of the online community via message board threads, to plan further developments to the Adoption UK website as a whole. This will include making improvements to the online services and facilities we provide to both members of Adoption UK, our online community of message board users, and our wider online audiences. We are currently finalising and preparing for these initial plans and, although we cannot comment in any detail or provide definite answers to questions at the moment, we hope to share more information with you in the next few months.
