School report

ED (now aged 14) changed school at the beginning of the year from one in seriously crap area where first language is ED''s first language, to one in better area and with English as first language. We talked seriously about whether she should repeat a year to make the transition easier, but in the end agreed I would provide a tutor and she would be prepared to do extra work if necessary.Anyway, from day 1 she has held her own, and at the end of term 2 her marks areEnglish (as first language) - 80%Maths - 87%Science - 91%Plus other subjects in the 70-80% range. She is such a star! And has been told that the only reason she isn''t a prefect is because she was new at the beginning of the year After 3 years of propaganda from me she is now talking about being a lawyer when she leaves school
