Would you like to meet similar families to build a peer support network and talk about and share your own unique adoption experience? The Adopt London South Regional Adoption Agency is hosting an Adoption Party. This will be a fun networking and research event for adopters with children who are placed with families who are not of the same culture or race, and BME adoptive families. Children of all ages will be able to join in the free fun, games, competitions, indoor and outdoor activities and lunch will be provided. Adults will have an opportunity to talk with other adopters and professionals about how Regional Adoption Agencies can work with transracial and BME peer support groups in the future. This fun and family orientated event will take place on Saturday 3rd November in South London from 12 noon – 3pm. Please encourage your BME, transracial and transcultural adoptive families approved or matched by any London adoption agency to attend. We would also like an adopted child to name and or draw a picture for this Adoption Support Event, suggestions and drawings should be sent via their parent to C---- EMAIL REDACTED ---- and the winner will receive a £50 voucher..
