Hi all, Has anyone had any experience of Adoption West or Adoption Focus?
Adoption West hasn't been around long enough for an Ofsted report and I'm trying to find independent information to make an informed decision before I agree that i'll only use that one!

Sorry, I have no experience of either.
My general advise would be to ask for their post-adoption support. Do they offer anything on top of what they have to provide by law? The thing with regionalised agencies is that they are now just sign-posting, while LAs used to offer some support. Adopters used to have key workers who were familiar with their case. Ask them how the agency is organised. Will there be someone post-adoption who will be familiar with your case?
We chose to go with a VA, which means we get the post-adoption support we are legally entitled to via our regionalised adoption agency plus the support our VA offers,. They have an open door policy and their team knows my family, which is very helpful. However, not all VAs offer that, so you do need to ask.
