Connect with other members of the adoption community from the comfort of your own home and enjoy an inspirational day. We’ll be bringing you impressive speakers and plenty of networking opportunities. Hear from the experts and those with lived experience and go away armed with knowledge about how adopted people can best be supported to thrive. Most importantly have lots of fun along the way!
Facilitating networking opportunities are very much at the forefront of our plans for the day. We’ll be releasing more information about the running order and programme for the day shortly, but in essence the day is going to be broken down in to three segments, with three key note speakers, three panel discussions from people with lived experiences and then three networking segments.
Instead of the usual coffee and lunch breaks that you would have at a face to face event – we are having morning, lunch time and afternoon breakout networking sessions – for each of these sessions delegates will be asked to pre-book in to a specific networking room based around a loose theme. For example – Parents of Teenagers, LGBTQ+ parents, Early days of placement, Parents of children with additional needs or general chatter etc… Also – at the end of each keynote and for each panel discussion there will be plenty of opportunity for delegates to ask questions and interact with polls etc.
