I haven’t been on here for an age......but having a particularly difficult time with adult Ad I felt in need of some support from people who have been and may still be there.

I couldn't read and not reply. Sorry that things are so difficult with your AD at the moment. My son is a teenager, so I don't have the experience with adult adoptees. I hope they'll be someone along soon with more experience.
Following all the changes that Adoption UK have made to the boards lots of people have wandered off. I was never a regular poster, but with so many people not here, it makes me look like one!
People have voted with their feet and have found other means of support. There seems to be very little (none since Scott left) enthusiasm on the part of AUK to attempt a fix. Or to even listen. Maybe they’ve just decided to jettison the boards?
