LGBTQ+ Adoption UK members of adoptive teens please come along and share your experiences and top tips.
One of the many discussion points will be how to best support your adopted teenager at secondary school when they are ashamed of having LGBTQ+ adoptive parents and/or are bullied by other students for having LGBTQ+ parents. Sadly, an issue that we know impacts on some adoptive young people at their secondary schools.
All Adoption UK LGBTQ+ adoptive parents of older children are very welcome to come along.
