I am an old user of the forums - and feel that with the support I had from others means that this is a team effort!

Shadette has been accepted by college for an Adult Return to Learning course - after being unable to access education - or the world - from the age of 13

There were many professionals and some folk on here who said I was the cause of her problems - but we have survived as a family, we are very close and I am so proud of how well she is doing now

So thank you all who gave us advice and support - its down to us all as a team

shadow thats just so wonderful to hear. well done to shadette and to you, the mum mum for hanging on in there.

Shadette has so much character and determination, she has a great future ahead of her. What an amazing young woman.

She has come so far Shadow. This is excellent news. By posting you have sincerely made me miss the early days where these forums were my life! Makes me all the more determined to make this a place to be able to share our stories (all of them!) safely and securely!

Well done to Shadette, I know she has been through the mill - I remember - and to you for sticking with this.
