I know I am fortunate that my grandchildren have remained with their parents but sometimes it feels as if we have gone from extreme parenting to extreme grand parenting. When we had a large family 4 adopted and one long term fostered child I never considered this might mean lots of grandchildren.
They are actually wonderful and it has been amazing to see the whole of their lives but yesterday was quite frustrating helping support them and their parents with transport to and from school, tea, dog walking, school liaison, issues with step grandchild, angry 15 year old oh and I forgot we have a 21 year old grandson living with us
I agree with others this site is hardly used at the moment and I too find the potato site more helpful but wish there was more for grandparents x
